Gathering:
The candidates are given a date and time for the physical test on which they have to reach the test venue in time. The candidates reach one by one and wait until all the candidates are reached and the specific time for reporting is over then the physical examiner comes and ask the candidates if anyone feeling not well or anyone does not want to give the physical test today and postponed it. After all the candidates get read then the test process starts.Form Filling:
First of all a form will be given to candidates and will be ask to fill it. The form is about the disclaimer policy which means if a candidates get injury then govt. and armed forces are not responsible of it however the candidate will receive the best medical facilities free of cost in military hospitals, and that candidates are giving the test on their own risk.After the form filling and attendance, the test starts and the candidates are tested in the following type of exercises and fitness tests. Running:
This is the major test for finding out the Physical Stamina of a candidates. This includes running is a large and wide ground. Candidates have to complete a running circle of 1 mile equal to 1.6 Kilometers in the time slice of only 8 minutes. At the test day, all of candidates are leaded to a wide and large ground, there they stands in rows and wait for the caution. As soon as the examiners blow the whistle, the time starts and candidates start running until they complete the round or the time ends.Candidates failed in this test are mostly screen out from the join process of Pakistan Army. This is not much tough but for those who have regular exercises and running stamina, otherwise a lot of candidates with no exercise or preparation fell down in the middle of the race and get screen out, others become slower and slower and thus didn't complete it in the allotted time.
As the candidates have a lot of time for preparation, so you are need to start running and other exercise daily. You must have at least the stamina of running for 20 minutes without stay.
Push Ups:
Push-Ups is the type of exercises most familiar to everyone, in this type of exercise candidates will lye straight on ground, the whole body is up from ground through the arms and toe, the arms are straight fully. The head is at higher level than the legs thus making a slope shape. After this the arms are curled and the body is moved towards the ground until the head and legs come at same level, after staying in this position for a while an return the the previous state counts as one Push-Ups.This is the second most important test. It also shows your physical standard and fitness level. After the running ends candidates are tested in push-ups in group shape probably group of 20 or 30 each. Candidates have to do 15 push-ups in 2 minutes. Push-ups have to be done at the caution of examiner.
All the group will be lay down at the earth in straight row. Once the examiner blow the whistle, it means your test starts, then the examiner says '1' (as in military style as 'Wonnnnnnn') the candidates will lay down on earth, after a while he says Uppppph (Up) you have to be in normal position, then after a while gain T'hoow (Two) candidates again in down position and so on up to the last one.
Sit Ups:
It is also a type of test. In this type of test a candidate will have to lye on earth facing his mouth up, then slightly bending his legs. After that will have to come in sitting position with hands behind the neck, and again go to the lying position after a while. this is count as one sit up and the exercise is known as sit ups.In the physical test, candidates also have to do 15 sit-ups in 2 minutes with the order of examiner.
Chin Ups:
This is also a type of exercise in which a candidates will hang with a pipe at the height of almost 7 feet with the help of hands, the he will move his body upward with the force of his arms, when his chin cross the pipe and stay for awhile, this count as one chin-up. At the physical day, candidates have to do 3 chin ups in 2 minutes.Ditch Crossing:
Ditch Crossing is the familiar type of exercise in which a candidate start running and jump over a ditch and cross it successfully. In physical Test, candidates have to cross a ditch with 7 feet length and 4 feet depth by jumping it over.Note: Their may be little change in methods or priority etc.
