JOIN PAKISTAN NAVY AS A COMMISSIONED OFFICER THROUGH SSC 2016-B

Branches:

		Operations Branch Marines and SSG Naval
Gender	:	Male
Age	:	up-to 25 Years on Jan 01, 2017
Height	:	5 feet and 4 inch
Qualification	:	Graduation with at least 55% marks from HEC recognized institutions. Physics and Mathematics with 55% marks in F.Sc are must

		Education Branch
Gender	:	Male
Age	:	up-to 28 Years on Jan 01, 2017
Height	:	5 feet and 4 inch
Qualification	:	M.A/ M.Sc/ BS (4 Years) preferably with B.Ed (except Psychology) having atleast 60% marks in Annual System or 2.5/4.0 CGPA in semester system, from HEC recognized institution or universities. The following subjects are required; Physics, English, Pakistan Studies, Psychology (Clinical Psychologist will be preferred)

		Education Branch (Islamiyat)
Gender	:	Male
Age	:	up-to 35 Years on Jan 01, 2017
Height	:	5 feet and 4 inch
Qualification	:	M.A Islamyat and Dars-e-Nizami Sanad, atleast 60% marks in annual system or 2.5/4.0 CGPA in semester system from any HEC recognized institution or university.

		Special Branch
Gender	:	Male
Age	:	up-to 27 Years on Jan 01, 2017
Height	:	5 feet and 4 inch
Qualification	:	BE with atleast 60% marks or 2.5/4.0 CGPA from any HEC recognized institution or University in the following subjects; Metallurgy, Chemical Engineering, Telecommunication, Industrial Electronics, Industrial Manufacturing.

		Special Branch (IT Specialist)
Gender	:	Male
Age	:	up-to 27 Years on Jan 01, 2017
Height	:	5 feet and 4 inch
Qualification	:	BCS / BSE / BIT / MCS / MIT /  BE (Computer Engineering) or equivalent with atleast 60% marks or 2.5/4.0 CGPA from any HEC recognized institution or University.

		Medical Branch (Specialist)
Gender	:	Male
Age	:	up-to 35 Years on Jan 01, 2017
Height	:	5 feet and 4 inch
Qualification	:	MBBS or BDS with Postgraduate qualification FCPS / FRCS / MRCP / MS / MD / American Board or equivalent qualification from Pakistan or Foreign Medical Colleges or Universities recognized by PMDC, the following subjects are required;  Anesthesiology, General Surgery, Cardiology, Maxillofacial Surgery.

Registration:

Registration can be don online through internet from June 13 to July 03, 2016. Registration is online, a candidate have to visit the official website of Pakistan Navy which is www.joinpaknavy.gov.pk and fill online registration form and submit it, after some time usually 48 hours, if the registration is approved, then candidates will have to save and print the slip on a paper.

Preliminary Process:

The candidates have to be appeared in the initial screening test which is to be held on July 17, 2016. The test will be paper based comprise of Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs). The result of the screening test will be uploaded up-to July 31, 2016 on the above website of Pakistan Navy, candidates can check it online however the qualified candidates will also be informed through Text Message on their given contact number.

The candidates qualified in the initial test will undergo initial medical checkup however the candidates for the branch of Marines and SSG (Naval) have to undergo the physical test also which are as under;

Running	:	1.6 Kilometer in 8.30 minutes
Push Ups	:	10 repetitions in 2 minutes
Chin Ups	:	2 repetitions in 2 minutes
Sit Ups	:	10 repetitions in 2 minutes

Those candidates who qualify the medical checkup will be tested in interview, the interview is generally about candidate's info, general knowledge and current affairs. The candidates qualified in interview will be given forms for ISSB Tests, the form is to be fill and submit in a given time generally 1 week after the interviews.

ISSB Tests:

Candidates who have successfully completed the preliminary process will be further test for which they will receive a call letter by courier for ISSB Tests, the tests notification and updates are also available at official website of ISSB as www.issb.com.pk, candidates need to regularly visit the website.
The candidates recommended in ISSB Test will undergo the final and detailed medical checkup in their nearest Military Hospital, after which they will be tested by Pakistan Navy Selection Board. The final selection list will be made by the Pakistan Naval Head Quarter, Islamabad. The selected candidates will be trained in the Naval Academy Karachi. After the successful completion of training, they will be awarded the Rank of Sub Lieutenant which is the equal to Rank of Lieutenant of Pakistan Army.

Ineligibility:

The candidates with the following conditions are not eligible for the course, they not need to apply;

• Those who are rejected by ISSB / GHQ / NHQ / AHQ Selection Board.
• Those who are not recommended from ISSB for Graduation Required Courses.
• Those who are tested within four months i.e 120 day in ISSB in any course.
• Those who are recommended from ISSB and their validity of Recommendation i.e 1 year still remains.
• Those who are dismissed from any Govt. Service.
• Those who are convicted by court of law in any offence involving moral turpitude.
• Those who are dismissed / resigned / withdrawn from any armed forces academy or training institute on disciplinary grounds.
• Those who's educational certificates found tempered with.
•  Those who provide false information or hide anything.
• Declared medically Unfit by Appeal Medical Board.
• Declared Medically Unfit due to Hepatitis B and C.
• Those who are married to a foreign national.

Relaxation:

The domicile holder resident of Baluchistan Province will get the 10% concession in marks and 1 year in upper limit of age.
