JOIN PAKISTAN AIR FORCE AS A MEDICAL OFFICER:
Vacancies has been announced for the induction in medical branch of Pakistan Air Force. Now all the candidates who want to serve the nation through regular services in Armed Forces, they have the great chance to convert their dreams into reality with the help of Pakistan Air Force. The Medical Branch of Pakistan Air Force is responsible for providing the Health facilities to the servicemen of the Force as well as to the nation in time of need such as flood, earthquake heavy rains etc. Read the following criteria and apply as soon as possible and see your dreams in real world.
Branches:
Induction is open in the branches of General Duties Medical Officers also know as GDMO and the The Medical Specialist.
First subtract the day if your Birth-Day is equal or larger than 16 for example 17, 18 or 19 etc. then it is easier as just simply subtract it if it is smaller for example 15, 14 or 13 etc. then go opposite means subtract the 16 from it and also decrease the month by 1. Now it comes to the month it is also same as if it is equal or greater than the October month as 10 then simply subtract it otherwise go in opposite and subtract the 10 from your Birth-Month and decrease your birth-year by 1. Now subtract the birth-year from 2016. Write the answer in the form of Year, Months and Days. This is your age on the prescribed date.
Minimum Age:
the minimum required age for the GDMO branch is 14 to 28 years and for the Medical Specialist branch is 29 to 48 years. The date on which the age is to be calculated is Oct 16, 2016. The age can be simply calculated by subtracting your Date of birth for example DD-MM-YYYY (in which DD is the day, MM is the month and YYYY is the year of your birth) and simply subtract it from the the given date as 16-10-2016. Nationality:
Only the citizen of Pakistan can do registration.
Gender:
Both males and females are allowed and can apply.
Marital Status:
Both married and Unmarried candidates can apply.
Height:
The minimum required height for the male is 163 cm and for female is 147 cm.
Qualification:
GDMO: The candidates must possesses the degree of MBBS with minimum 2nd division. The degree awarding institution or university must be recognized by Pakistan Medical and Dental Council (PMDC), the candidates must have completed 1 year house job in institution which is recognized by PMDC however those having relevant field experience will be given preference.
Medical Specialist: For the Medical Specialist Branch, the education qualification is same as for the GDMO Branch however the candidate must have specialization in one of the below disciplines:

Medical Specialist: For the Medical Specialist Branch, the education qualification is same as for the GDMO Branch however the candidate must have specialization in one of the below disciplines:
- For General Medical Specialist
- Eye Specialist
- Psychiatrists
- Urologist
- Orthopedic Surgeon
- Child Specialist
- Gynecologist (only female candidates)
- ENT Specialist
In each case the relevant specialization is must.
Registration:
Registration will be held online through official website of Pakistan Air Force from June 20 to July 03, 2016. The registration will be online and will be closed at midnight on the given last date. No registration can be carried out after the given date.
Registration Process:
Registration is online through internet. The candidates have to visit the official website of Pakistan Air Force which is www.joinpaf.gov.pk there click on the Register Online and a new dialogue window will be appeared enter your National ID Card number and click submit, your course selection page will be appeared, click on the right bottom apply now tab of your course of choice then click the the relevant buttons onward, at last the registration form will be loaded, fill in the relevant boxes with the correct information and click apply button after that check the information again carefully and proceed to next, your registration slip will be loaded save this in your system and after that print it out on a hard paper this is your test slip and must have to be shown in the test day.
Initial Selection:
The candidates successfully registered will be given a test date on which they have to report the given selection center. Their they will give the initial test which will be computer based test in the MCQs pattern and will be from the Course studied in the relevant field. The Candidates who passed the initial test will undergo initial medical checkup and after getting fit will undergo initial interview. Candidates qualifying the interview will be given forms for ISSB which are to be filled in and resubmit in a given passage of time.
ISSB Tests:
Candidates qualified in the initial preliminary process will be called for the Tests in ISSB where their different test will be taken. After the tests, the candidates result letter will be sent to their postal addresses.
Final Selection:
Candidates recommended in ISSB will have to undergo final and detail medical checkup after which they will be interviewed by the Selection Board of Air Head Quarter. The final selection will be made on the overall performance of the candidates, after which the selected candidates will be called for Basic Training.
