Rangers launch Mobile Application to ensure Schools & Colleges' Security
Sindh Rangers have launched a new mobile application aimed to ensure security of educational institutions in Karachi.
This was stated by Rangers Spokesperson Colonel Qaiser and Sindh government Advisor Maula Bux Chandio, while addressing a news conference in Karachi today on Saturday.

Colonel Qaiser said under the system, a software has been developed. In case of any emergency or threat, the head of educational institution will send an SMS to the Rangers.
He said that more than 3000 schools were already registered gradually remaining schools and colleges will be added to the new application named ‘Rangers School College Protection’.

“Karachi has been divided into 60 areas where Rangers will be deployed round the clock. Principals of the schools registered under this application will be able to generate a quick message in case of any threat,” he said.
The process of registration of schools is underway in the provincial capital. Media houses and police would also be registered soon.

Speaking on this occasion, Maula Bux Chandio, Adviser to Sindh Chief Miniser Qaim Ali Shah, praised Rangers’ application as a good step.
He said that Sindh government also contributed to development of the new application.

Chandio said that shopping malls and offices would also be registered under the new application.


“We are proud of our law enforcement agencies and always appreciate their positive steps for the security of citizens,” he said.
