PAKISTAN INSTITUTE OF ENGINEERING AND APPLIED SCIENCES (PIEAS)
MS Nuclear Engineering: Pre Requisites: BE/ B.Sc Engineering in Mechanical, Chemical, Metallurgy, Civil. M.Sc / BS (04 years) in Physics, Chemistry.
MS Medical Physics: Pre Requisite: M.Sc/ BS (04 years) in Physics.
Features
▪ Fellowships will be offered to candidates selected through tests and interviews only on merit.
• Fellowships include living allowance of Rs.25,000/- per month besides full tuition fee waiver, free hostel, free transportation & indoor medical facility.
• Duration of Fellowship is 2 years. O Fellows will have to execute a bond to serve PNRA for five years after completion of MS from PIEAS.
• After successful completion of MS from PIEAS, fellows will be placed as Assistant Engineer/Scientific Officer (SPS-8) in PNRA with three advance increments and will become eligible for promotion to next scale (SPS-9) after two years of service in SPS-8 scale.
Eligibility
• Only Pakistani Nationals are eligible (including AJK, FATA and FANA).
• Pre-requisite qualification as mentioned against each program.
• Preferably first class academic career, however, one second division is allowed, except in the final degree. In case of semester system, a CGPA 2.5 out of 4 in the final degree is required.
• Candidates having M.Sc / 4 years BS in Chemistry must have studied Physics and Mathematics at undergraduate level.
• Degrees must be recognized by HEC/PEC.
• Candidates expecting completion of their degree requirements by the end of 2016 may also apply.
• Age limit - 27 years as on December 31, 2016. Submission of Forms
• Application forms are available at PNRA
• Submission of applications may be done online (preferable) through PNRA website www.pnra.org or by post at the address given below.
• Application processing fee is Rs. 1500/- for online submission and is Rs. 2000/- for submission by post.
• Application processing fee must be deposited in online bank account No. 0001771650501384 (Title of Account: PNRA MISC), ASKARI Bank, G-8 Markaz Branch, Islamabad (Branch Code No. 0177).
• Candidates applying online or by post (through Demand Draft), should submit the original Bank Receipts of processing fee along with a passport size photograph to Establishment Officer-II, PNRA at the address given below. The Name, Online Generated Roll No. (for online candidates only) & CNIC No. should clearly be specified on the back side of the receipt and also at the back of the photograph. Photocopy of the receipt in not acceptable.
o Last date for submission of application form is June 13 2016 (Monday)
o Written test of short listed candidates will be conducted by PIEAS on July 16, 2016 (Saturday) in the major cities of Pakistan. List of shortlisted candidates, eligible for written test will be placed on PNRA website.
