The Heart of Asia- Istanbul Process is an intergovernmental organisation established to provide a platform to discuss regional issues, particularly encouraging security, political, and economic cooperation among Afghanistan and its neighbours. It was launched in 2011. The first ministerial conference was held at Istambul, Turkey on 2nd November 2011. The United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change (UNFCCC) is an international environmental treaty negotiated at the Earth Summit in Rio de Janeiro in 1992. It entered into force in 1994. There are 197 countries which have ratified the convention. The objective of the treaty is to stabilize greenhouse gas concentrations in the atmosphere at a level that would prevent dangerous interference with the climate system.
