Instructions Regarding Ban to use the Students for Cleanliness or Gate Duty
Apropos to the Subject
- Instruction have already been issued from time to time that no school should use the students for cleaning/ sweeping or Gate Duty.
- It has been observed that some schools are still using their students for cleanliness or Gate Keeping. It is reiterated that instructions should immediately be issued to all the Head teachers to ensure that no school is to take such services from its students further. However in case of non availability of sweeper or Chowkidar the school can employee workers on daily wages for gap arrangement. Such expenditure may be met from Non Salary Budget (NSB) or Faroogh-E-Taleem Fund after approval of School Council.
- The Head Teachers should be held responsible for adhering to above instructions to the staff also. In case of Non Compliance, strict disciplinary action shall be taken against the Head Teachers. You are therefore, directed to ensure the compliance of the above said directions in letter and spirit under intimation to this office.
