Arjun Kapoor wishes to visit Pakistan, especially Peshawar

Arjun Kapoor Ki & Ka
Bollywood actor, Arjun Kapoor, is busy promoting his film Ki and Ka, and during one of the interviews he expressed his desire to visit Pakistan and spoke about his Pakistani heritage.
Kapoor was speaking to The Express Tribune when the conversation steered quite naturally towards him visiting Pakistan and India-Pakistan collaborations. The actor said he was keen to see Peshawar as his grand father was born there.

"My heritage is Pakistani and I have loads of Pakistani fans on social media who I would love to connect with. I would love to visit but I’m waiting for something special, to give the audience a good time," he said.
He further spoke of his Pakistani fans and how he received so much live from this side of the border. Speaking about the acceptance of Ki and Ka in Pakistan, he said,

“I think liberal minds of Pakistan, especially youngsters who vouch for equal opportunities, will enjoy the film. I am very positive about Pakistan and Pakistani family audiences."
He also spoke about India-Pakistan collaborations and how they weren't possible over phone or Skype.

"Creative people meet, spend time together and then come up with something. Sadly, Indians are not very easily accepted in Pakistan and that has a lot to do with the governments. They don’t create a congenial environment, just do business together. Films, however, don’t have any borders!”
Kapoor was probably hinting towards the whole Anupam Kher saga which had unfolded earlier this year. In the ends, Kher had however admitted that he never applied in writing for Pakistan's visa. We're sure if Arjun Kapoor applies the 'proper way' he'll get the visa quite smoothly.
Arjun Kapoor and Kareena Kapoor starrer Ki and Ka is releasing worldwide on April 1, 2016.
