Granting Financial Benefits to Sub Division Clerk and Senior clerk Equally
It is intimated vide letter referred above that the post of senior clerk was upgraded from BS-7 to BS-9 vide finance department letter No. FD.PC/3207/2007 dated 10-09-2007. Now the post of senior clerk has further upgraded from BS-9 to BS-14 w.e.f 01-01-2016 vide finance department Notification No. FD.PC/3914/77(Pt-IV)APCA/2008(Provl.) dated 04-01-2016. But the financial benefits are not being granted to the post of sub divisional clerk in spite of finance department circular letter No. FD.PC-3914/77 (P-II) dated 23-09-1991.
Your kind attention is invited to the letter No. FD.PC-3914/77 (P-II) dated 23-09-1991 issued by Govt. of Punjab, Finance Department to all the administrative secretaries in the Punjab, Accountant General Punjab as well as all District accounts officers in Punjab. Therefore it was decided that granting financial benefits to Sub Division Clerk and Senior clerk Equally in future.
