District Consumer Courts in Eleven Districts of Punjab

Punjab Government has established District Consumer Courts in Eleven Districts ( Lahore, Sahiwal, Multan, Dera Ghazi Khan, Rawalpindi, Gujrat, Sialkot, Gujranwala, Bahawalpur, Sargodha and Faisalabad) of Punjab for the protection of consumers.

Fees of District Consumer Courts:
There is no fee for District Consumer Courts in Eleven Districts of Punjab.

What type of Problem will be solved by District Consumer Courts:
  1. Standard of goods should be well if not contact to District Consumer Courts.
  2. List of things not on packing or Expiry date not mentioned.
  3. Rate List is not hanged on Business site.
  4. No receipt given by the shopkeeper, no detail of things, no date of shopping, standard and value of things and address of shopkeeper.
  5. There is no information about products and Refundable amount.
  6. Illegal advertisement to increase sale of goods.
  7. If you are in trouble due to bad services of government or semi government organizations and firms.
  8. No warning about Sample, variety or structure of products.
Method to contact District Consumer Courts:
  • Give a notice of 15 days to business man.
  • After 15 days, contact to District Consumer Courts, if problem still exist. Prosecute with copy of notice CNIC and address.
  • Attach documents for proof if available.
