TRAINING OPPORTUNITIES
AS
"TRAINEE ENGINEER"
National Highway Authority (NHA) being pioneer organization in the construction industry is playing its part and providing practical on job training to engineering graduates as Trainee Engineers at on going development projects. In compliance to the above policy applications are invited from the interested
Engineers who meet the under mentioned eligibility requirements for their engagement as Trainee
Engineer at Hassanabdal-Havelian (E-35) project.
ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA
• B.E./ B.Sc. (Civil / Electrical / Electronic Engineering.) / from a HEC recognized
Engineering University
• The candidates must have completed the degree within last 05x years. The 05 years will be counted from the closing date i.e. January 22, 2016.
• The candidates must have valid registration with PEC.
OTHER TERMS & CONDITIONS
i. The selected Trainee Engineers will be deployed for training with concerned Contractors / Consultants
at the Project Site/HQ.
ii. The hiring of Trainee Engineers shall be for a period of 6 months (extendable for a period of 1 year) only and no further extension shall be admissible.
iii. The Trainee Engineers once completed the training shall not be eligible to apply for re-hiring.
iv. Trainee Engineers shall be paid monthly lump-sum stipend as provided in the respective contract agreement.
v. Trainee Engineers shall be entitled for official holidays plus 20 leaves in a year.
vi. Trainee Engineers shall not be treated as NHA employees and their period of training shall not be
considered or claimed for regularization, promotion and seniority in NHA. They shall provide an
undertaking to this effect on judicial paper duly attested by the First Class Magistrate at the time of
joining.
vii. Trainee Engineers shall not be admissible for any allowance, facility, boarding / lodging during the
period of their training in NHA except payment of lump sum monthly stipend.
viii. NHA reserves the right to accept / reject any application or cancel / postpone the process for hiring.

along with, complete CV, 03x passport size photographs, attested copy of B.E / BSc (Civil / Electrical /
Electronic Engineering.) degree, PEC registration, domicile certificate and CNIC on or before
22nd January, 2016.
