PROBLEMSTATEMENT
Is there any significant difference between the perception of male and female teachers in describing the reasoning skills of students?
NULLHYPOTHESIS
There is no significant difference between the perception of male and female teachers in describing the reasoning skills of students.
STATISTICS TO BE USED
Since two independent groups are to be compared on a dependent variable representing interval level of the measurement, Independent Sample t-test will be used.
FINDINGS
Group Statistics
| Teacher's Gender | N | Mean | Std. Deviation | Std. Error Mean |
Reasoning | Male | 27 | 24.63 | 7.265 | 1.398 |
| Female | 171 | 26.10 | 8.464 | .647 |

Levene's Test for Equality of Variances shows that there is no significant difference (value is .130 which is greater than .05) between the variances of
The results of Independent Sample t-test indicates that there is no significant difference between the perception of male and female teachers in describing the reasoning skills of students.
(sig. = .394)
The Null Hypothesis claiming no significant difference between the perception of male and female teachers in describing the reasoning skills of students is, therefore, accepted.
CONCLUSION
Male and female teachers both perceive the same way about reasoning skills of the students.
