PROBLEMSTATEMENT
Is there any significant correlation between the mobility of a student and his/her job choices in the perspective of teachers?
NULLHYPOTHESIS
There is no significant correlation between the mobility of a student and his/her job choices.
STATISTICS TO BE USED
Since both variables represent interval level of the measurement, Pearson Correlation will be used to see the significant correlation between the two variables.
FINDINGS
Correlations
| | Mobility | Jobchoices |
Mobility | Pearson Correlation | 1 | .497** |
| Sig. (2-tailed) | | .000 |
| N | 198 | 198 |
Jobchoices | Pearson Correlation | .497** | 1 |
| Sig. (2-tailed) | .000 | |
| N | 198 | 198 |
**. Correlation is significant at the 0.01 level (2-tailed).
The results of Pearson Correlation indicates that there is a significant correlation between the mobility of the students and their job choices.
(r =.497, sig. = .000)
The Null Hypothesis claiming no significant correlation between the mobility and the job choices of the students is, therefore, rejected.
CONCLUSION
(Teachers think that) Mobility of the students helps them to some extent in making decisions for their job choices.
