India became World’s largest cotton producer

• According to data released by International Cotton Advisory Committee (ICAC), India became World’s largest cotton producer on 30th September 2015. India produced 6.51 mn tonnes cotton.

• Sheila Watt-Cloutier won Right Livelihood Award 2015 on 01st October 2015. She shared the prize with Kasha Jacqueline Nabagesara of Uganda and Dr.Gino Strada of Italy.
