Imran Abbas wants to work in Turkish Plays

With Turkish plays like 'Freiha', 'Mera Sultan' and 'Ishq-e-Mamnoon'  which broke records of popularity in Pakistan, our local actors have shown desire towards them – and the latest artist to show interest in working in them is none other than the 'Mera Naam Yousuf Hai' heartthrob Imran Abbas.

The actor has recently been to Istanbul to meet his Turkish musician friend Ersin Faikzade and while taking to media, he reveals his intention of working in Turkey.
“I would love to take part in Turkish cinema. I would like our countries to become closer culturally, which will only be possible with joint projects between Turkish and Pakistani artists.”
He also added that he is planning to shoot a video in Urdu and Turkish with his friend Faikzade.
Getting mesmerized with the beauty of Istanbul Abbas said that he wants to come here again and again.
“This is my second time here and we Pakistani people like Turkey and the Turkish people, we have much common culture and history.”
Adding that he loves Istanbul in particular, Abbas noted that he had studied architecture back in school and looked forward to exploring the city’s architecture.
Abbas is currently busy in completing the shoot of his second Bollywood movie, ‘Jaanisar’ opposite Pernia Qureshi. It’s a period film that depicts the story of a revolutionary dance, played by stylist turned actress Qureshi whereas Abbas is playing Prince of Avadh opposite her.
The actor made his debut in Bollywood with Creature 3D as Bipasha Basu’s love interest.
