For the last two days, a news regarding former President and COAS, Gen. Pervez Mushrarraf, is circulating on social media that he will be doing a show on an upcoming, self proclaimed biggest news media in Pakistan, BOL. Even a video promo of the show named, “The President Musharraf Show” has been made and uploaded on social media websites. The former President, on his Twitter and Facebook accounts, has denied that the news regarding his show on BOL is fake and based on propaganda.
A few accounts run by the fans of the ex President Musharraf, denied the news of him doing any show on an upcoming TV channel BOL. Pervez Musharraf himself retweeted those tweets which clarified that the news are false and based on propaganda. Furthermore, the former president also shared the same message on his verified Facebook page.
Moreover, it has remained a tradition by BOL TV that they announce all updates on their official website and Facebook page. But, there is nothing regarding Pervez Musharraf and his upcoming show.
We are unable to understand how can someone blindly trust such news regarding him. He was the COAS and President of Pakistan. Currently, he is facing the charges of treason in Pakistani courts, and his name is on Exit Control List (ECL). In such situation, how can someone start a TV show?
