Higher Education commission (HEC) and Quaid-i-Azam University (QAU) Scholarships 2015

The scholarship is offered jointly by Higher Education Commission and Quaid-i-Azam University (QAU) for National students under Public service development program (PSDP) project. The Public Sector Development Programme (PSDP) is the main instrument for Providing economic resources for development projects and programmes. It is basically a split scholarship, in which two year of study in local universities and two year of study in foreign universities is funded. These scholarships are offered for those students who want to pursue doctorate (PHD) program. The goal behind this scholarship is to create a group of PhD scholars so that on completion of studies they serve as an asset to the country. It aims at reducing poverty,

ensuring equitable development of regions various social groups, and empowering women.

Unto ten scholarships are offered by Higher Education Commission and Quaid-i-Azam University.

Scholarship Description / Details

This award provide many grants for the applicants, these following grants are:

Full tuition fees.

Eligibility Criteria

In order to be considered for this award, candidates must be:

Pakistani citizen
Eighteen years of education.
First divisions in last academic degree.
NTS-GAT (subject specific) with minimum of 50% marks or has qualified the International GRE.
40 years of age for full time regular faculty members of public sector Universities and 35 for others.
Candidate must have secured admission into a PhD program will be given preference.
The candidates who are already receiving any other scholarship are not eligible.
Scholarship will be offered on open merit.

Scholarships Bond

Individual is willing to commit to work on completion of studies for at least five year in Quaid-i-Azam university. He/ she will be offered Faculty Position on completion of studies.

Following documents along with application form must be submitted to below mentioned address
Attested photocopies of all educational documents.
Photocopy of CNIC
Passport
Four photographs
CV/Resume.
Domicile
A short para indicating reason for pursuing higher studies not more than 500 words.
Research Proposal.
Attested copy of valid NTS-GAT/ International GRE, score result card.
Deposit slip of Rs. 2000/- as processing fee.
Candidates have to submit an undertaking form on stamp paper.
Incomplete or applications received after due date will not be accepted
No objection certificate (NOC) for employed individuals from department is necessary
Only shortlisted candidates will be called for interview.
