Eligibility Criteria
  • For MBA/ MA Public Administration & Management/ Conflict Transformation Studies/ Governance & Ethics:
  • Second Class Bachelor degree in any discipline obtained from a recognized institution. Those holding second class Lower degrees should have least two years working experience in related fields from the time of graduation.
  • For M.Sc Applied Tropical Entomology and Parasitology:
  • Second Class Bachelor degree in Zoology, Agriculture, Human and Veterinary Medicine obtained from a recognized institution. At least two years working experience in related field for those holding Second Class Lower degrees
  • For M.Sc Medicine (Surgery):
  • Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery or its equivalent from a recognized institution
  • For Medical Anthropology:
  • Second Class Bachelor degree in any discipline obtained from a recognized institution. Those holding second class Lower degrees should have least two years working experience in related fields from the time of graduation.
  • For M.Sc Agri-Enterprises Development:
  • Second Class Bachelor degree in agricultural sciences, Veterinary Medicine, Business Administration or other economics related disciplines from a recognized institution.
  • For M.Sc Food Security and Community Nutrition:
  • Second Class Bachelor degree in any of the following disciplines: Agriculture, Food Science and Technology, Biological Sciences, Veterinary Medicine or other medical fields from a recognized institution.
  • For MBBS/ BA Agriculture/ B.Sc Education (Biological):
  • Principal passes in Biology and Chemistry obtained at the same sitting.
  • B.Sc Bio system Engineering:
  • Principal passes in Mathematics and Physics obtained at the same sitting and Credit passes in Chemistry and Biology at ‘O’ Level
  • For B.Sc Food & Agribusiness:
  • Principal passes in Chemistry and Biology obtained at the same sitting and at least credit in Mathematics and English at ‘O’ Level
  • For BBA:
  • A Principal pass in Economics and in one of the following; Mathematics, Physics or Geography obtained at the same sitting.
  • For B.Sc Economics/ BA Quantitative Economics:
  • Principal passes in Mathematics and Economics obtained at the same sitting
  • For BA Development Studies/ Public Administration/ LLB:
  • Principal passes in any two of the ‘A’ Level Subjects obtained at the same sitting
  • For B.Sc Education (Physical):
  • Principal passes in Math and Physics obtained at the same sitting
  • For B.Sc Education (Economics):
  • Principal passes in Math and Economics obtained at the same sitting
  • For B.Sc Education (Sport Science):
  • Principal pass in Biology and in any one of the remaining ‘A’ Level Subjects obtained at the same sitting.
  • For B.Sc Education (Agriculture):
  • Principal passes in two of the following: Biology, Geography, Agriculture and Chemistry obtained at the same sitting and Uganda Certificate of Education (UCE) or its equivalent with at least passes in English, Mathematics, Chemistry and Biology.
  • For B.Sc Computer Science:
  • Principal pass in Mathematics and in any one of the following subjects; Physics, Chemistry, Geography, Economics, Entrepreneurship, Technical Drawing, Food and Nutrition or Agriculture obtained at the same sitting.
  • For BA Information & Communication Technology:
  • Principal passes in any two of the ‘A’ Level subjects obtained at the same sitting and at least a credit pass in English and Mathematics at ‘O’ Level
  • For BA Education:
  • Principal passes in any two of the following subjects; Economics, Geography, Religious Education, History, Literature in English obtained at the same sitting
