He issued infallibility Decree but it was not as heretical a step as it was made out to be, because his decreed were based on the 5 fiqhs. Although, it is said, that he proclaimed his version of a universal religion which he called the 'Din-i-ilahi' although there is no contemporary evidence of this proclamation. But certain beliefs of his were certainly out of the pale of Islam, such as the worship of the sun and encouraging idol worship.
