  • An autobiography “ONE LIFE IS NOT ENOUGH” written by Kunwar Natwar Singh which depicts the autobiography of Natwar Singh who is former External Affairs Minister in Union Government and was also senior Congress Party leader. The book reveals and unveils the information about the President of Congress Party Mrs.Sonia Gandhi. Before this, the book “THE ACCIDENTAL PRIME MINISTER” was written by Dr.Sanjaya Baru. 
  • Prime Minister of India Shri Narendra Modi has launched the website “MyGov.nic.in which will allow every citizen to share their ideas and suggestions with the government to take India at the peak of development. First time in India, this type of website has launched and gives the every citizen to share their ideas on every issue. 
  • The Union Government will set the rape crisis centers in all the States of India. This crucial step has taken to decrease the crime against women by Union Ministry of Women and Children Development. These steps are the demand of time because from last many years the crime against the women increases day by day. The basic and important aim of all the centers that to provide police help to all the rape victims and sexual assaults. 
  • Kaptan Singh Solanki appointed as the Governor of Haryana succeeded by Jagannath Pahadia. Kaptan Singh Solanki was the Member of Parliament in Rajya Sabha. While K.N. Tripathi sworn in as the Governor of West Bengal succeeded by D.Y. Patil. Ram Naik appointed as the Governor of Uttar Pradesh, Balramji Dass Tandon for Chhatisgarh, Om Prakash Kohli for Gujarat, Padmanabha Balakrishsna Acharya for Nagaland. 
  • Sania Mirza appointed as the Brand Ambassador of Telangana to promote the newly added State in the map of India. K.Chandraseskhar Rao became the First Chief Minister of Telangala. Telangana became the 29th State of India. 
  • Dipa Karmakar from Tripura became the first Indian woman gymnast to win Bronze medal at the Commonwealth Games while Abhinav Bindra won the Gold Medal in Men’s 10 m Air Rifle event. 
  • The State Assembly of Arunachal Pradesh passed the Arunachal Pradesh District Planning Committee (Amendment) Bill, 2014. Apart from this the State Assembly of Arunachal Pradesh also introduced two bills i.e. Arunachal Pradesh Unlawful Activities (Prevention) Bill 2004 and Arunachal Pradesh State Housing Board Bill 2014. 
  • The country Ghana gave the offer to the Government of Punjab to gave the fertile farmland to the farmers of Punjab which offer will accepted by the Government of Punjab. This offer of Ghana will give help to the farmers of Punjab to increase the productivity in the State and all over India. 
  • The newly appointed Deputy Governor of Reserve Bank of India Shri S.S. Mundra (Subhash Sheoratan Mundra) was the Chairman and Managing Director of Bank of Baroda. S.S. Mundra holds the various higher positions in the various organizations.
