The Board of Reserve Bank of India has given the approval to create the post of Chief Operating Officer as per the needs of the economy.
Reserve Bank of India announced that free ATM transactions for savings account holders in six metro cities will decrease from 5 to 3 from 01st November 2014. That cities are Mumbai, New Delhi, Chennai, Kolkata, Bengaluru and Hyderabad.

Indo-Nepal Combined Army Training Exercise will be conducted in the State of Uttarakhand. The name of this training session is Surya Kiran-VII. About 300 personnels will attend this training session.
