Best IBPS PO Books for Preparation

Many readers requested me to share list of best books for IBPS PO preparations. Today I made a list of books that I recommend to my students.

Quantitative Aptitude

Difficulty level of this section is increasing every year. You can buy RS Aggarwal's book for this section. Remember to buy separate book for Data Interpretation part
because RS Aggarwal's or M. Tyra's book doesn't contains DI section.

Data Interpretation

There will be at least 3 question sets. There is trend of two diagram questions, in which you have to drive information from both diagrams at once.

Don't even think about RS Aggarwal's book for Data Interpretation. Level of difficulty is really very high now. I made of 50 sets of questions, you get it here.

Banking awarenes

Basic questions are asked from this part. Basic questions like full form of RAM, WWW etc are asked.

You can prepare from any basic computer book or you can download Computer notes here.

Difficulty level of IBPS PO has increased gradually over time. So, don't even think about RS Aggarwal's book. I strongly recommend Logical Reasoning by Nishit Sinha.

English

There is no proper book for this section. Read any basic English Grammar book. I recommend Objective English by Hari Mohan Prasad.

How to improve your score in English

  • Read newspaper daily
  • Cramming long vocabulary terms is a waste of time, instead of this make your own list of words that you saw while reading a book or newspaper but unable to interpret. Search this word in dictionary. This technique will improve your hold on English language gradually.
  • Practice all question types.
