As many of you might know that IBPS is facing leagl battle from PO III candidates. Let me highlight some of the features of notification for PO3.
According to PO 3 notification the IBPS didn’t spell out the number of vacancies available for allotment .Instead they incorporated the following
“Depending on the available vacancies in Participating organisations, candidates shortlisted will be allotted to one of the Participating Organisations keeping in view the spirit of Govt. Guidelines on reservation policy, administrative convenience, etc. “
But in PO2 the clause was
I. VALIDITY OF CWE SCORE CARD
“The scores awarded to candidates, who qualify in CWE-PO/MT-II, will be valid for one year from the date of issuance of the scorecard and will be considered for recruitment exercises during that period. Candidates who have been declared as qualified in the previous CWE (I) are also permitted to apply, if they wish to improve their scores and/or keep the scores valid for a further period of 1 year from the date of issuance of scorecards of this CWE (CWE-PO/MT-II). “
Again in po 3 notification they added another clause
“This system of Common Written Examination, interview and allotment for recruitment of Probationary Officer/ Management Trainee posts in Participating Organisations has the approval of the appropriate authorities. IBPS, an autonomous body, has received a mandate from the organisations mentioned at (A) below, to conduct the recruitment process as mentioned above, once a year.”
If so what is the available vacancies. They have taken vacancies for allotment of po 2 qualifiers as on 31/3/2014.IBPS conducted cw3 during last quarter of 2013 and result was polished in 1st April. I think because of not mentioning the validity clause they incorporated reserve list to avoid distribution of vacancies arising during the FY 2014-15 for PO 3 QUALIFIERS. But Delhi High Court admitted that PO2 qualifiers are eligible for vacancies of 2013-14
It is strong case for argument and a prudent Advocate may
Be entrusted to handle the case. Also pray for po4 notification till the dispute is resolved.
