How to prepare for Data Interpretation

If you are already preparing for a bank exam then you might know that Data Interpretation part is a decision maker in the exams. In most of the exams there are three to four question sets each containing 4-5 questions. So this section gives you 15-20 marks. I have seen many candidates who skip these questions, this is a drastic mistake. If you are practicing from right kind of study material that is updated then you won't find any trouble while solving these questions.

Problems that candidates face and its Solution

Lack of study material

It is a well known fact that most of the books available in the market for Data Interpretation section are outdated. If you have already appeared for SBI PO or Clerk exam then you might understand what I am talking about. No institute is trying to teach from updated material because they don't have expert faculty and they can't handle student's queries. So everybody is teaching and studying from outdated material.

Solution

Solve DI question sets from previous papers. You can get my Data Interpretation workbook here, it contains high quality DI question sets along with detailed solutions. I tried to keep to the difficulty level really high.

Over-confidence

Most of the students solves easy questions during practice. After solving 2-3 sets, they become over-confident and they stop practice. On D-day they get surprised with complex questions and stuck at it. It wastes time as well.
