This medium sized services business employs around 150 people, has four locations and has a great reputation in the markets it serves. The business is successful and has seen good positive growth over the last 10+ years.
Day to day routine responsibilities of the role include controlling and owning the monthly management reporting process, managing the small finance team, supporting line management in understanding and using the financial information relevant to their business units, annual budgeting and periodic re-forecasting, then the tax and statutory compliance. So the role looks after the complete finance and accounting function.
Then as time and resources allow there is a desire that this person will initiate and or be involved in a range of value added projects, which might range from project feasibility analysis, process improvement initiatives or system changes.
The background of the person we are looking to take on this role is someone who is a professionally qualified accountant, has a good level of experience in medium or large corporates, and a proven willingness to be hands on in your work. Most importantly is a willing and helpful attitude and a genuine desire to engage and interact with the wider team.
