| Express Media Group is looking for a research analyst for a media advocacy campaign about education. The candidate’s responsibilities will include: Job Responsibilities: • Conducting a literature review of existing research on teachers in Pakistan and finding relevant international research. • Conducting both primary and secondary research • Compiling useful case studies regarding policies on teachers that would be applicable in Pakistan. • Extracting key facts and creating synopsis of research findings. • Meeting with team members and editorial to discuss the research needs • Conveying findings accurately to others in report form and briefings • Conducting primary research where secondary sources are not available. • Providing accurate and detailed supporting material for primary research. • Be able to creatively think of ways to communicate the research in a media campaign. Competencies Required: • Has an understanding of the education space and local policies related to education • Has an understanding of various research methodologies • Previously conducted research projects and is aware of different tools of research • Should possess analytical mindset • Strong command on English language • Sound reporting and researching skills • Passion for social welfare, wants to bring a positive impact on the society | |
