Good news for the citizens of Lahore is Punjab Chief Minister Shahbaz Sharif signed the agreement of Lahore Metro rail with China on Pakistan’s behalf.
Initially according to this agreement with China, Orange Line of Lahore Metro train will be constructed from Ali Town to Dera Gujjran. The length of this Orange Line will be 27.1 km. This train line in one area of Lahore and the Metro bus covering the other area, the traffic load will be greatly eased.
It is to be noted that later, 3 more tracks will be laid and they are labelled with colors like wise. There is Green Line from Shahdara to Hamza Town with length 27km. Then there is Purple Line from Data Darbar to Allama Iqbal International Airport. Then there is Blue Line which starts from Chauburji to LPC, and its length will be 24km.
I really appreciate the efforts of Punjab chief minister for initiating a Metro Rail Project for Lahore. I f you recall in your mind in every tenure of Nawaz Sharif & Shahbaz Sharif they have given Nation one big project.
