Job Fair 2014 Starts at Lahore Expo Centre

Lahore:09 March:The two-day ‘Job Fair’ started under the auspices of the Punjab Youth Festival (PYF) 2014 here at the Expo Centre on Saturday where national and international companies have been providing lucrative job opportunities to talented youth.
Sports Board Punjab (SBP) Director General Usman Anwar inaugurated the job fair. A large number of national and multinational companies’ representatives and job-seeking youth were also present.
The purpose of the Punjab government-supported job fair is to play a role of bridge between the job-seeking youth and national and multinational companies. The youth can find jobs according to their skills and capabilities, said Usman.
Around 20,000 to 30,000 youngsters are expected to get registered for the job fair. In all, 62 companies have installed their stalls.
SBP DG Usman Anwar said: “The Punjab government has opened doors of the entire world for youth by organising this job fair. National and international companies will hire the services the Pakistani youth which provide them respectful jobs. Such job fairs will also be held in future to provide the talented and skilled Pakistani youth opportunities to get jobs in national and multinational companies and earn good name for the country.”The news.
