Advanced University Degree in Information Management/Technology, which could also include information system engineering, process re-engineering and data analysis competencies. Knowledge of contemporary developments and approaches with the perspective of developing countries in general and analytical understanding od issues, challenges and opportunities in the context of Pakistan in the field of human rights, child rights and Child Protection will be an asset.

1. Two year's combined field and headquarters experience in different international organizations (e.g. UN agencies, INGO's, IO's, Donors, IFRC or ICRC. 2. Knowledge of Child Protection area, technical guidelines, standards and indicators. 3. Proven statistical and analytic skills. 4. Knowledge of database development and information system development cycle. 5. Knowledge of designing IT project implementation plans, showing tasks, responsibilities and timelines. 6. Ability to translate planning specifications to technical briefs for data capture and analysis, and vice versa.

· Provides technical support to map, design and implement Child Protection data and information management systems initiatives with Line Ministries, departments, units, and other government and non-government institutions at provincial/ district level which are currently involved in Child Protection issues/ concerns, data collection and reporting.

· Conduct stakeholder consultations, process reviews and mapping, development of data collection and coordination mechanisms

· To develop indicators in order to effectively monitor and evaluate progress achieved in the implementation of the Convention and assess the impact of policies that affect children.

· Design Data Collection/Entry formats (manual and/or electronic) using the familiar structuresand maximizing the use of existing data and provide clearer data definitions.

- Provide orientation and training in how to use the new formats and support in interpreting and utilizing the statistics/indicators, possibly including a workshop for key CP partners at the District level.

· Supports the Child Protection and Child’s Rights governmental bodies, at the national and provincial levels to develop a monitoring system/ database which enables collection and monitoring of human rights and child rights related data systematically, review results and progress of projects collected through reliable methods and quality criteria.

- Provides analytical and graphical representation of data which could help program managers for steering and learning from ongoing interventions and also highlights key information and support decision making.

- Facilitates federal and provincial offices to comply with the planning, monitoring, evaluation and reporting requirements of the child protection programme and strengthens the coordination and communication between CP programme and other sectoral programmes on important topics (MYWP and IMEP monitoring, internal MYR/AR, RAM, SItAN preparation, Donor reporting/PBA use monitoring, Field monitoring, ME training etc) as well as the web based monitoring and reporting system for the intersectoral programme on Protecting Child Rights in Cotton Farming Areas of Pakistan.

· Provide technical support and training to provincial offices and implementing partners in the area of information management and monitoring of data and results.

- Support Child Protection program staff for ready reference data, figures and statistics on Child protection concerns and also conduct analysis on SPSS or other software as required.
