Job description
My client, based in Johannesburg is looking for an account manager to work on a SAB brand. You will work in an integrated team, so strong communication and team work skills are required. In working with the Cape Town based creative studio, the AM will need to have sound briefing and project management skills, backed by an excellent eye for detail.
It will be your responsibility to own the delivery and quality of projects for your clients, whilst focusing on growing client relationships
You will be responsible for the following:Management of design & TTL campaigns on a day-to-day basis.
Management of client expectations and service delivery by being a focal point for day to day interaction.
Work closely with and provide full support to the Account Director and Business Unit director.
Provide training to the Account Executives and Interns
Specific Responsibilities:
Sound financial management of projects.
Delivery of high quality campaigns in line with agreed plans.
Implementation & management of TTL campaigns
Excellent client relationships.
Effective and accurate reporting.
Add value to the client's business by identifying opportunities to improve current practices, creative work, and campaign performance.
Identifying and canvasing of new opportunities within the client's business
Maintain the integrity of the creative strategy and work throughout the campaign.

Requirements
Educated to degree level.
Marketing qualification essential.
Agency experience essential
Ability to think commercially and understand real return on investment.
Strong focus on strategy & execution.
Acute attention to detail.
Strong administrative and organisational skills.
Strong presentation skills - verbal and written.
Broad understanding of all communication disciplines.
Ability to solve problems quickly and thoroughly.
Understanding of new technology and the application of it to the creative process.
