To apply for this position, candidates will ideally need the following qualifications:
A degree in Computer Science/Information Technology or Systems.
Experience in JQuerry, Ajax,HTML5, CSS, ASP.Net, .NET, JavaScript
Strong T-SQL/PL-SQL programming required including experience with creating stored procedures, views, functions, and cursors.
Experience managing, deploying and troubleshooting in an ETL intense environment. such as SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS)
Exposure to financial markets, including company fundamentals, will be added advantages.
A minimum of one year of prior work experience in a similar role for the Software Engineer position. A minimum of two years of work experience in a similar role for the Senior Software Engineer position.
Good written and spoken English skills.
Ability to learn quickly.
A strong work ethic, with good attention to detail.
Knowledge of Pentaho Data Integration (PDI) will be an added advantage
The successful candidate’s duties will include the following:
Implementing enterprise-wide systems for financial clients
Communicating with clients, participate in design discussions in order to develop/enhance tools and processes.
Monitors client processes efficiently resolving issues that arise
