Purpose of the Job:
Organize, manage and control overall production planning and purchasing activities to ensure uninterrupted product supply to meet the market demands in a cost effective manner. Manage allocation of production plan and materials across the factories in line to market demand and in a cost effective manner.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare, update and implement the overall purchasing plan of all Direct Materials related purchases in a timely and cost efficient manner with proper documentation in line with the company’s requirements.
- Ensure that materials are available in correct quantity, quality and in accordance with budgetary requirements and follow up, update status of any claims due to non-conformance on quality and quantity.
- Ensure the implementation of the supplier selection process in co-ordination with Manager Purchasing.
- Prepare and submit report on performance of suppliers (quality, quantity, time, service and price) to drive continuous improvement.
