NTDCL is a Public Limited Company with an annual turnover of Rs, 800 billion. NTDCL operates and maintains twelve 500 kV and thirty 220 kV Grid Stations. This also includes 5077 km of 500 kV transmission lines and 7359 km of 220 kV transmission lines in Pakistan. The main functions of NTDCL include: acting as Central Power Purchasing Agency, System Operator and Transmission Network Operator under license from NEPRA.
The company is looking for a high caliber, experienced individual for the position of Chief Financial Officer on contract basis.
The candidate for the position should be qualified Fellow Chartered Accountant {FCA} with 10 years post qualification relevant experience OR Fellow Cost & Management Accountant (FCMA) with 15 years relevant
experience in senior financial management position in private as well as public sector companies. The candidate having power sector experience will be preferred.
Chief Financial Officer (CFO) will head the Finance Department of the company and will report to managing Director and the BOD for all functions of his position.
The skills required from the candidate will include but not limited to:
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, time management and presentations kills.
• Good planning and organizational skills to balance and prioritize work
• Ability to recruit train, motivate and develop team players to achieve objectives of the company.
• Ability to work with the MD/Board of Directors/Audit and Finance Committee of the BOD.
•To deal with regulatory affairs, formulation of tariff and preparation/presentation of tariff petitions before NEPRA.
• To ensure forecasting and funds management as per policy of The Company.
• To manage change and induct corporate financial and accounting systems in the Company.
Remuneration and Age
• The position is offered on a market-based competitive salary with other fringe benefits commensurate with
qualification and experience of the candidate.
