Brand Manager Jobs in Novartis

Job Purpose:
To manage and execute the marketing mix of the assigned brand with the aim to set its long term strategic direction and growth.

Major Accountabilities: 
- Managing the Profit & Loss (Topline Growth, Bottom Line Growth, Gross Margin) of and developing sales forecast of the brand
- Developing and executing strategic brand plans focusing on short term and long term objectives
- Practical experience of managing and launching brand extensions in existing category or new brands in new categories
- Developing and executing trade and consumer promotions to generate demand
- Developing and managing marketing expenditure of the brand
- Ability to work collaboratively with the advertising agency to achieve the desired results within time
- Ability and potential to conduct brand forums involving cross functional teams from sales, production operation and finance
- Comprehensive understanding/practical experience of managing brands, including:
- developing consumer insight - product and communication insight
- developing Brand Keys (using the insights) to set the strategic direction of the brand
- managing and executing the marketing mix

Experience Required:
- Min 2-3 years of brand management experience in pharmaceutical / consumer goods industry.
Minimum requirements

Education:
MBA majoring in marketing
Languages: English and Urdu
